Garam masala is an iconic Indian spice blend that is used in a wide variety of dishes including curries, stews, soups, dals, and marinades. We love this spice because it lends a warm, sometimes sweet earthiness to a variety of dishes.

And the curry powder - well, chuck it in any curry! We love to roast veg / fry up veg in the curry powder, add coconut milk and more spices and it's a great curry base. Cook up some rice with it and you have a veg curry and rice.

We love the mushroom powder in risottos, pastas, sauces, broths, gravy, mac and cheese - and.... have you ever tried it as a topper for cheese on toast?! Don't hate it until you've tried it, because my goodness the added flavour is incredible. Sprinkle porcini powder onto grilled cheese-on-toast for an out-of-this-world flavour explosion.

Vegan mac and cheese 
Vegan risotto
Sprinkle your flaked chillies onto any Med dish - pizzas, pastas, risottos - for an extra kick. They can be stirred in or used as a garnish.
Med veg with greek cheese - you can substitute the cheese for any vegan cheese.

Jess' lazy dish when she wants something fresh and easy: roast tomatoes and garlic cloves into the oven to roast (if you only have tinned tomatoes, reduce these down into a thicker paste with the rosemary and oregano - try the mushrooms in it too for added depth) with fresh herbs (use the dried oregano with this). Cook spaghetti - when the spaghetti is ready, keep some pasta water.
Mix the spaghetti, roasted veg and pasta together, top with the chilli flakes and drizzle some olive oil and you're good to go!

Vegan peppercorn sauce - you can use either green or black pepper - the green will give it added depth.

Pink peppercorns: The floral and fruity flavor of pink peppercorns works well in spice rubs for meat, poultry, and fish since it can uplift any heavy, rich notes. That fruitiness also accompanies ingredients like galangal, garlic, and lemongrass quite well, making it a great addition to many Thai curries.

White peppercorns: Use white pepper to season light-colored dishes like cream sauces, soups, potatoes, pasta and seafood. White pepper has a pungent flavor so use less than you would black pepper. We like ground white pepper for Korean dishes. It is definitely great in Asian dishes.

Carbon Neutral Emissions

Because If You Care Firelighters are made 100% from biomass- wood and vegetable oil- the emission resulting from their combustion are considered carbon neutral. This is due to the fact that the CO2 emitted from the combustion of biomass is offset by reduction of CO2 in the atmosphere as a result of new biomass growth. This is in accordance with guidelines by the EPA as well as the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). HOW TO USE

If You Care Firelighters are quick and easy to use, just follow these simple steps:

1. Open Bag.
2. Place 3-4 If You Care Firelighters under wood or on top of charcoal.
3. Light each Firelighter on the fractured side of the cube. Cube burns for 8-10 minutes with the first 5 minutes producing the strongest flame.
