CERTIFICATIONS: Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS): no chemical pesticides or fertilisers are used in the production of the of the fabric and farmers must work under safe conditions with an agreed minimum wage.

These bags are so durable! When we had forgotten any extra bags we only had one of these when we did our food shop. It stretches SO MUCH we managed to get everything in (except a long baguette!).

When Lemon & Jinja started they created Nyabo, a kitenge business making bespoke products. The pattern is called ‘Kitenge’ and is East African.  Each sale from the Nyabo range makes a huge impact to Susan and the work she does in Uganda.

This summer we launched a giveaway competition on our social media. The competition was to create a design to be printed onto some tote bags with the theme zero-waste, saving the planet, and all things Lemon & Jinja. We had so many incredible entries and it was so hard to choose one winner... so we picked two. 

The first design that we are so excited to show you is by a lovely customer of ours, Eva. We absolutely love this design of our name amongst the rainforest with all the animals! We think it really highlights why we do this, to help our planet! It also reminds us of have wild we all are!
