The story behind the design: The t-shirt graphics incorporate symbols that reflect all things Lemon and Jinja: whales (save our seas), chameleons (Jess's personal favorite!), lemons (of course!), the recycling symbol, refill jars, the sun, bees (buzzing for sustainability), the Earth, eucalyptus, cacti, monstera leaves (our love for plants!), a peace sign (because we adore peace), and a turtle!

The Story Behind the Design: In July 2022, Lemon and Jinja set up a pop-up shop in the heart of Romsey. While Jess was busy at the counter, a group of adults strolled by, curious about the shop. As they walked away, one of them casually remarked, "Oh, it's just one of those filly-uppy shop things." They didn’t stop to explore, but the phrase stuck with Jess. She was determined to turn it into something special for the shop!

Designed by Jess herself, the postcard proudly features the slogan "Voted Best in England 2023," a nod to Lemon and Jinja winning the prestigious Best Sustainable Lifestyle Business in England 2023 award from Muddy Stilettos.

At Lemon & Jinja we love talking all things periods and wanted to create a t-shirt that represented and highlighted the importance of breaking down the stigma of periods and ending period poverty. It's a very subtle design so don't let the description put you off!
