Loose Leaf Tea + Teabags

Make a cuppa and juuuuuuust relax!

Aromatic rose petals intertwine with finest black tea, ethically sourced. The scenting of the tea is created using a time honoured layering technique to infuse the tea with the aromas of the delicate rose petals. Origin: India/ China Prep: Use 1 heaped teaspoon, add boiling water, leave for up to 3 minutes.

Assam tea is a variety of black tea, grown in the northeastern Indian state of Assam.

Everyone needs a lift in the morning, and this loose-leaf estate Assam ticks all the boxes. Assam tea is often frequently marketed as a breakfast tea. With or without milk, this tea is a great start to any day.

Chamomile is one fo the most ancient medicinal herbs known, and a member of the Asteraceae/Compositae family. It's most known for its relaxing properties, making it the perfect post-dinner tea to help wind-down.

This Lucky Dragon Hyson Tea is by far the best green tea we have found! Super smooth, with sweet notes, and tastes fantastic. 

Ingredients: Chinese green tea

Green tea naturally contains caffeine, however unlike coffee, this caffeine is slow release, leaving you energised for longer and without that big crash. Green, oolong and black teas all originate from the same Camellia sinesis plant, but green tea comes from the younger leaves and buds that have not undergone the same withering and oxidation process.

Top tip #1: Add in a few centimetres of cool/luke warm water into your cup/pot with the loose-leaf tea, and swish around with the tea for around 30 seconds. Then top up with the boiling water afterwards. This stops the green tea from burning and turning bitter - instead a sweet and super delicious tea is released. 

Alternatively, only heat the water to ~80 degrees Celcius (not to boiling point) before adding it to the tea leaves, or leave the water to cool down for a while after boiling. Both these techniques can help prevent the tea from burning also.

This lemonbalm and thai ginger tea is a delicious and aromatic take on the classic 'lemon & ginger' tea.

Ingredients: lemon balm, thai ginger

Lemonbalm (Melissa officinalis) is a herb from the mint family, but the leaves have a lemony aroma. It is thought to have a calming and relaxing effect.

Thai ginger, or galangal, its actually its own ingredient even though being commonly mistaken for ginger. Its actually smoother and paler than ginger, with a harder flesh. It's flavour is also stronger than ginger, being earthy, sharp and citrusy, making it perfect as a tea.
