Right, we need to talk about this one, because I am SO excited for it
Mumbai Street Eats are joining us for a special Lemon & Jinja Supper Club, and if you know their food, you already know what's coming. If you don't, buckle up
They do the most incredible, authentic, comforting vegan Indian food, and this evening is inspired by the vibrant street food culture of Mumbai itself. Bold flavours, fragrant spices, and honestly just an all round feast
You'll start with a sharing platter (hello, Pani Puri, THE MOST DELICIOUS), followed by a traditional Indian Thali, all served on your own stainless steel thali with little bowls of Gujarat-style dishes so you can try a bit of everything
I love a thali. LOVE LOVE LOVE one. So I am genuinely counting down the days for this.
On the table to nibble: Plain and spiced Indian Ghathia
Starters to share: Khaman Dhokla (steamed savoury sponge) with green chutney Pani Puri, crisp semolina shells filled with spiced potato and kala chana, served with a tamarind water shot and a scattering of pomegranate and fresh coriander Bhel, puffed rice, onion, potato, coriander and pomegranate tossed in a sweet and sour tamarind sauce Veggie samosas, potato and pea filling with five traditional Indian spices
Your thali: Five lentil dall Undhiyu, a rich vegetable celebration delicacy Chickpea and spinach curry, packed with flavour in a lightly spiced sauce Fragrant basmati rice Warmed tandoori naan Poppadoms Onion bhajia, crispy fried onion in a spiced batter Kachumber, a traditional salad freshener Pickles and chutneys
Whether you're already a big fan of Mumbai Street Eats or this is your first taste, come along for a relaxed evening of great food, good company, and plenty of flavour

Current timings:
6.30-7pm arrive, settle and have a discussion about where and how we are feeling before the film
7pm: start the film, with a break in between. Film plus break will take approx. 1 hour 15 minutes.
8.15-8.45pm: discussion, check in and catch up
Join us at Lemon & Jinja for a screening of the People's National Emergency Briefing, an eye-opening film bringing together nine leading UK scientists and experts to share the latest evidence on the climate and nature crisis, and what it means for everyday life in the UK
But this evening isn't about leaving you feeling overwhelmed or wondering what we can possibly do
After the film, we'll come together for an open discussion to reflect on what we've heard, share ideas and, most importantly, think about the practical steps we can take, as individuals and as a community, to move forward
You know us, we want this to be positive. It's all about small steps, and what we can each do to make a genuinely positive impact
We want to create a space for honest conversations, connection and action, leaving you feeling informed, uplifted and hopeful, rather than stuck in a feeling that there's no way forward
This event is free, we just want you there
We're hoping to have a food truck outside on the night (fingers crossed for pizza, food still tbc!) so you can grab something to eat and order directly with them while we chat. This part isn't included in your free ticket, just an extra if you fancy it
The whole point of the evening is to come together, talk, and see how we can grow and change, as individuals and as a community
Come along, watch, listen, share your thoughts and help us explore what we can do next
Because understanding the challenge is important, but so is finding hope, taking action and doing it together.
