Sustainable & Unique
Each garland is 200cm and made from recycled mixed fibre sari. By its nature, sari fabric comes in assorted colours and designs, so every garland is one-of-a-kind. We embrace the individuality that comes from repurposing discarded materials. Specific colour patterns cannot be guaranteed, but the vibrant result is always stunning.

Produced by a small family-run textile business, the team also subcontract to disadvantaged groups in their community. We have proudly worked with them for over 10 years, supporting local skills and ethical craftsmanship.

Red kidney beans are native to the Americas, and come in many different shapes and sizes, the most commonly known being the deep red kidney beans.

IMPORTANT TO READ: Red kidney beans are poisonous if not boiled furiously during their initial cooking. The key is to NEVER cook them in the water in which they have been soaked, but drain and rinse them well before cooking them in fresh water. 

These beans are a great source of protein, fibre, folic acid, low sodium and high potassium, along with molybdenum (which your body uses in detoxification and development of the nervous system). 

How to prepare: Soak the beans overnight, then throw away the soaking water when the beans are plump and slighty softer, and the skins are no longer wrinkled. Rinse well. Cook in water without salt before adding to the desired recipe.

Plums gathered from traditional orchards in the Vale of Evesham are infused in organic cider vinegar before simmering with red onions to give a pleasing fruity tang to this classic preserve. Pair with charcuterie, cheese or add to gravy.

Red quinoa comes from the flowering plant Chenopodium quinoa, which is native to South America. Uncooked, red quinoa seeds are flat, oval, and crunchy. Once cooked, they puff up, forming small spheres similar in shape to couscous, and take on a fluffy-yet-chewy texture.

Red quinoa is also naturally gluten-free, making it a good choice for those with celiac disease or gluten intolerances. It's also rich in fibre, protein, and many important vitamins and minerals. Particularly, it’s a good source of manganese, copper, phosphorus, and magnesium.
