Bombay mix is an Indian snack consisting of a medley of dried, spiced ingredients. It is known as chevda in India and chanachur in Bangladesh.

We love this mix as an extra tasty appetiser or for easy snacking.

The Brazil nut (Bertholletia excelsa) is a South American tree in the family Lecythidaceae, and it is also the name of the tree's commercially harvested edible seeds. Brazil nuts are notable for diverse content of micronutrients, especially a high amount of selenium, an essential mineral with antioxidant properties. Selenium plays an important role in reproduction, metabolism, and immune health.

Brazil nuts can be eaten raw as a snack, or chopped and added to muesli and other cereals.

Our breastfeeding peer support gatherings are all about connection, shared experience and feeling held by community. These relaxed, welcoming meet-ups are facilitated by the lovely Polly Smith, IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant), and are open to breastfeeding mums at every stage of their journey.

Whether you’re exclusively breastfeeding, mixed feeding, pumping, or simply want to sit in a space where you feel understood, this is time just for you. To come along, connect, chat, and feel supported without judgement.

Held upstairs in the calm, cosy setting of Lemon & Jinja’s café, these sessions offer a gentle space to meet other mums, ask questions, share your story, or just listen. Support is compassionate, evidence-based and offered in a way that centres you and your experience.

These sessions are completely free, but booking is required so we can keep the space comfortable and supportive for everyone.

Polly qualified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2020 and works one-to-one with families, offering expert support for more complex breastfeeding challenges. Her work is grounded in empathy, evidence-based knowledge and a deep respect for each family’s unique journey.

Her passion for infant feeding support began long before qualifying as an IBCLC. Polly is a mother of premature twins, and her own experiences navigating breastfeeding challenges are what first inspired her commitment to supporting others.

Since qualifying as a breastfeeding counsellor in 2014, Polly has volunteered extensively within her community. She leads local breastfeeding support groups, facilitates antenatal breastfeeding classes, and provides one-to-one support. Over the years, she has supported hundreds of nursing parents with care, kindness and compassion. Alongside her private practice, she continues to volunteer her time to support breastfeeding families.

Above all, Polly is dedicated to helping every nursing parent reach their own feeding goals. She believes families know what’s right for them, and her role is to listen, understand and empower parents to make informed choices with confidence.

I'm going to give you my brutally honest review of these.

To me, they basically smell and taste like oatcakes (yes, I tried one so you don't have to). But my dog? Absolutely obsessed.

This is a dog who normally only pays attention to me if I'm holding something involving chicken or duck. Yet somehow these vegan biscuits have her appearing out of nowhere the second I get them out. They have become a firm favourite in our house.

Brown mustard seeds are most known in wholegrain mustard, and as a seasoning. However they also commonly used in Indian cooking, where their fragrant tastes come out from roasting in a dry pan, or lightly fried in ghee/oil until they pop.
