CETYL PALMITATE It is an ester that is used as both thickener and emollient (conditions the skin's surface). It is 100 % vegetable origin.

36% Shea Butter: Soil Association certified organic unrefined Shea Butter.

36% Coconut Oil: It has a natural, although low, SPF, and Shade has chosen their favourite CoconoilTM Unrefined Virgin Organic Coconut Oil (also Soil Association certified) for their formula.

10% Beeswax: Completely non-toxic, beeswax locks in moisture, has excellent water-repellant properties and is a naturally nourishing moisturiser as well as being an anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti-allergenic and a germicidal antioxidant. Premium pure & unrefined.

18% Zinc Oxide: Non-Nano Zinc Oxide has a cooling, slightly astringent, antiseptic, antibacterial and protective action on the skin, making ShadeTM a perfect aftersun also.
