NAVIDAD SKY, our festive coffee for 2025 hails from high up in the mountains of Nicaragua. This coffee is perfect for a festive morning brew and will enhance any coffee based cocktail, especially espresso martini's and Irish coffee. Packed full of flavour, baked apple and spiced nuts are the key note followed by a jammy sweetness.

River Coffee Roasters have worked closely with Gold Mountain Coffee Growers in Nicaragua for 8 years. Gold Mountain are a social enterprise company who help smallholder producers export their coffee. Don Francisco is one of the first farmers to join Gold Mountain Coffee Growers when he and Gold Mountain's flagship farm were both members of a Fair Trade cooperative that suffered from mismanagement. Gold Mountain has provided Don Francisco financing throughout the years as well as market access, actions which have allowed him to purchase and then triple the size of his farm (Finca San Francisco). Working with Gold Mountain has also allowed him to improve his wet mill and house, fund multiple life saving operations for his grandchild, and produce this volume specialty lot that rivals small microlots or quality, either as espresso or pourover.
