I just wanted to touch on the laundry liquid, if this is your first time purchasing it from us. The laundry liquid itself is made by a small company called SESI, a family run business in Oxfordshire producing ethical detergents. All of their products are vegan, cruelty free and biodegradable. They exist to produce circular household liquids to refill stores, completely waste free and operate on a small scale whilst protecting the environment and waterways. This means that their pricing reflects this small, community and independent ethos.
They have recently improved their laundry liquid recipe, concentrating it which means you end up putting a lot less in each wash! We use it in store and find it lasts considerably longer as you need the smallest amount, compared with other non-concentrated detergents. If you'd like, I can send you a copy of the recommended concentration per weight of your wash if that would help?
For reference, the bio laundry liquid is 75p per 100ml / £7.50 per litre. I have included some similar pricing of mainstream and 'eco' superstore brands to compare, which I hope you may find useful.
Persil bio - £6.64 per litre (non sustainable or environmentally friendly)
Arial bio - £6.46 per litre (non sustainable or environmentally friendly)
Ecover bio concentrate - £7.35 per litre (non circular refill)
Faith In Nature - £6.60 per litre (non circular refill)
