Black salt, or kala noon, is a type of rock salt, a salty and pungent-smelling condiment used in South Asia. The condiment is composed largely of sodium chloride with several other components lending the salt its colour and smell. The smell is mainly due to its sulphur content. Due to the presence of Greigite (Fe3S4, Iron(II, III) sulfide) in the mineral, it forms brownish pink to dark violet translucent crystals when whole, and, when ground into a powder, it is light purple to pink in colour.

Crispy Fried Onions are thinly sliced onions deep-fried in oil till golden brown and crisp. Use these for making curries, biryani, soups, and dals. Sprinkle on top of salads for a delicious crunch and flavour.

A versatile dairy free nut roast with fruit and seeds. Packed full of nutritious nuts and delicious flavours, great for lunch, dinner or as a savoury snack and of course Sunday lunch, or with all the trimmings during the festive period. Great as a sandwich filling too.

This product is Vegan.

To make two servings, add 170g of mix to 100ml of water, mix thoroughly and leave to stand for 20 minutes. Place in a small oiled tray, press down and cook for a 20 minutes at 190--C or gas mark 5. Leave to stand for 5 minutes and then serve.

Nutritional yeast, also known as ‘nooch’,  comes from a species of yeast known as Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Nutritional yeast is similar to the yeast that people use in baking, but it undergoes a heating and drying process that renders it inactive.

Nutritional yeast is dairy-free and usually gluten-free. As a result, it can be a useful supplement for people with food allergies or sensitivities, as well as those on restricted diets. It is also low in fat and contains no sugar or soy.

Our nutritional yeast is fortified in vitamin B12, which is particularly important for those on a vegetarian or vegan diet where this vitamin is only found in animal products. 

It can be added to recipes to make a ‘cheese’ sauce, or stirred into mash potato. Why not also try adding it on top of baked beans? Yum!

Breadcrumbs (WHEAT flour (WHEAT flour, calcium carbonate, iron, niacin, thiamine), yeast, salt), onion, salt, rapeseed oil, flavouring, parsley sage

To stuff meat or poultry or use on it's own as stuffing balls! Vegan and just EXCEPTIONAL!

A few how tos:

Add 1 litre of boiling water to 340g stuffing mix, stir well, and allow to stand for 15 mins before use.

Ingredients (per 4–6 balls):

• 100 g sage & onion stuffing mix

• 150 ml water (or stock for extra flavour)

• Optional: 1 tsp butter or oil for richness

Method:

1. Prepare the stuffing: Mix the stuffing mix with 150 ml boiling water (or stock) in a bowl. Stir well and let it sit for 1–2 minutes until it thickens slightly.

2. Form balls: Once slightly cooled, shape the mixture into golf-ball-sized balls.

3. Optional: Brush lightly with a little melted butter or oil for extra crispiness.

4. Bake: Place on a lined baking tray and cook at 180°C / 160°C fan / 350°F for 20–25 minutes until golden and crispy on the outside.

5. Serve warm as a tasty side.

💡 Tips:

• If the mixture is too wet, add a little extra stuffing mix to help it hold together.

• For smaller or larger balls, adjust cooking time slightly.

Sun dried tomato halves with salt.

Maximise the flavour of these intense Sun dried tomatoes by adding to recipes at the beginning, or rehydrate by soaking in hot water for 20 minutes. Rinse, drain and store in good quality olive oil for use at anytime.
