What are functional mushrooms, are they medicinal? Functional mushrooms are non toxic and are not the hallucigenic kind. What is a dual extraction tincture? The compounds of interest are soluble in either water or alcohol. A dual extraction covers both a water and alcohol extraction.

About Myndful Mushrooms

Founded in 2022 by Chris and Jon, Myndful Mushrooms is rooted in authenticity, transparency, and a shared love for fungi. Chris brings years of experience foraging and cultivating gourmet strains such as Oyster and Lion’s Mane, while Jon grows mushrooms on his 4-acre Hampshire farm, Jolly Moon.

After a year of research, development, and expert collaboration, they launched their first tinctures in early 2024 and quickly became known for their integrity and passion, even hosting daily talks at Eweleaze Boutique Campsite that summer.

Now in partnership with the UK & Ireland Mycotherapy Practitioners Register, Chris and Jon continue to deepen their expertise, sharing the healing potential of mushrooms with the world.
