These dried apricots retain their darker, more natural brown colour, as they have not been treated with sulphur dioxide. 

If you soak dried apricots they will become plump and can be used to make moist cakes and fruit loaves.  They can also be snacked on straight from the bag or added to trail mix and topping breakfast bowls. They also make a great sweet addition into savoury dishes. 

They are high in iron and rich in fibre.

Arborio rice, or risotto rice, is a variety of short-grain rice used primarily in the classical preparation of risotto, and is named after the area in Italy where it was originally cultivated. Arborio rice is short, fat, and slightly oval-shaped with a pearly white exterior.

Because it undergoes less milling than ordinary long-grain rice, arborio retains more of its natural starch content. Cooking the rice releases this starch, resulting in a firmer, chewier, and creamier rice compared to other kinds of rice.

Aromatic rose petals intertwine with finest black tea, ethically sourced. The scenting of the tea is created using a time honoured layering technique to infuse the tea with the aromas of the delicate rose petals. Origin: India/ China Prep: Use 1 heaped teaspoon, add boiling water, leave for up to 3 minutes.

For cooking:

Arrowroot powder is made from tropical tubers. This white-coloured neutral-flavoured powder is very easy to digest, and is used as a gluten-free alternative to cornstarch.

It is most commonly used as a thickener, in making jellies and fruit fillings, getting that crispy outside to proteins, and adding a glossy finish to foods. It doesn't change the colour of dishes and even stay intact when mixing with acidic ingredients. 

Gluten-free, vegan + paleo friendly

Want another reason to use this? - It has a very long shelf-life of 3-4 years!

Top tip: When using as a thickener, it is best added in towards the end of cooking over lower temperatures. 

Substitute in cooking for: cornstarch, tapioca flour, potato starch, rice flour

Commonly used in natural cosmetics. Some examples in what it can be used in includes: dry shampoo, a deodorant ingredient, as a talcum and baby powder substitute, homemade makeup ingredient

Pots needn't be plain. With a distinctive ceramic pattern, the Artichoke is modelled on the outer leaves of, you've guessed it, an artichoke. The scallop-like appearance is finished with an aqua-coloured glaze. Plant with succulents and cacti, and place on a windowsill or open shelf, to bring a botanical touch to your interiors.

2. Donations: Bring your craft supplies, tools, fabrics, or materials to swap. Donations are accepted up to one week before the event if you can’t bring them on the day.

Do I need to bring supplies to participate?
Not at all! Anyone is welcome to join, even if you don’t have items to swap.

Any remaining supplies will be donated to local schools, art groups, or organisations in need.

Will there be food and drink available?
Yes! Our café and shop will be open for refreshments during the event.

Cancellation policy for events

We hope you enjoy your time with us! If you do wish to cancel with us, please read our cancellation policy. We politely request you inform us as soon as you can, if you are unable to attend. This will allow us to offer your spot to another customer. You may call us at 07375557016 between the hours of 9.30-4.30pm Monday - to Friday to cancel. Please have your details on hand for us to take note. Please ask to speak with Jesse Dugdale or Sophie Roe - if they are unavailable, they will be immediately informed and will get in touch via phone or email. 

Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the event date, will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made within 3 - 6 days will incur a 20% fee, with the remaining refund as store credit. Cancellations made within 48 hours to the event will incur a 30% fee, with the remaining refund as store credit

If we need to cancel the workshop or event, we will aim to give at least 24 hours notice. Anything less than 24 hours notice will mean there is staff illness or a factor completely out of our control. 24 hours and longer, we will fully cancel and refund you. Within 24 hours, we will strive to book a new date for all customers and offer you first priority.

By booking on to our workshops and events, you are virtually agreeing to this cancellation policy.

Asafoetida is the dried latex exuded from the rhizome or tap root of several species of Ferula, perennial herbs of the carrot family. In Ayurvedic medicine, hing is used to aid digestion and gas, as well as treat bronchitis and kidney stones. It is a common ingredient in Indian cuisine and cooking. 

Assam tea is a variety of black tea, grown in the northeastern Indian state of Assam.

Everyone needs a lift in the morning, and this loose-leaf estate Assam ticks all the boxes. Assam tea is often frequently marketed as a breakfast tea. With or without milk, this tea is a great start to any day.

Baking powder is a dry raising agent used to increase the volume and lighten the texture of baked goods. It works by releasing carbon dioxide gas into a batter or dough through an acid-base reaction, causing bubbles in the wet mixture to expand.

Balsamic vinegar is a food cupboard staple. It can be used on roasted vegetables, salads, and as a marinade.
