Golden caster sugar, also known as raw caster sugar, is an unrefined fine-grain sugar with a light golden colour, similar in texture to white caster sugar. It's not to be mistake for light brown sugar, which gives a more fudgey texture. 

It dissolved quickly and performs in the same way as white caster sugar, but is different to white caster sugar in that it still contains small amounts of molasses. The molasses give it the light golden colour, along with a slightly more caramel flavour.

Gram flour, or chickpea flour, is totally gluten free and made from ground chickpeas. It's pale yellow and fine-grain, with an earthy flavour to suited most savoury dishes, and traditionally and commonly used in Indian foods.

This flour is rich in fibre and nutrients, richer in protein than wheat flour, and a lower glycaemic index. It's also rich in minerals such as potassium, magnesium and phosphorus.

Ground almonds are made from whole almonds, which are first blanched and then ground to a fine powder.

Ground almonds are a great addition to baking such as cakes and muffins. They are also fab in curries too as a natural sweetener and thickener.

Icing sugar is a finely ground sugar produced by milling granulated sugar into a powdered state. A staple in your baking cupboard. 

Perfect for making all icing, such as glace icing, lemon drizzle, buttercream... the list goes on. 

Also can be used as the ideal edible glue for those gingerbread houses or edible decorations. 

Fermipan red dried yeast is the trusted choice of professional bakers across the world. This dry yeast rapidly rehydrates when mixed with water or when added directly to dough.

Fermipan yeast has extremely high fermentation power, which makes it a particularly good choice for lean doughs with low sugar content. It also reviewed for the less 'yeasty' flavour it gives to bread as compared to some other dry mixes.

We love this seed mix. It’s perfect for sprinkling on salads, soups and breakfast. Use it when baking bread and add it to smoothies. We even love it on stir fries!

Chia: high in fibre, Omega 3 and a good source of protein. Can be used as a vegan egg replacement (soak 1 tbsp in 2 tbsp warm water for 30 mins: replaces one egg). Grown in the UK

High quality fine vegan cocoa powder, perfect for adding that chocolatey loveliness into baking and hot chocolate. Other ideas include adding them into into smooties for a richer, chocolatey taste, sprinkling onto fruit, and added into granola bars.

'Are cocoa powder and cacao powder the same?' we hear you say...

No they are not. Both raw cacao powder and cocoa powder originate from the same beans, however differences are in the taste, nutritional value and texture, all to do with how the cacao bean is processes. 

Cacao is lighter in colour, more fruity in flavour, and closer to its natural state than cocoa powder. 

Cocoa is darker in colour, and is more processed and refined than cacao, including an extra processing step of roasting at high temperatures, decreasing its nutritional value.
