How It’s Made:
Every matcha is lovingly handmade in a pottery studio in Berkshire, UK. The process blends traditional craftsmanship with modern design, creating elegant and functional pieces to brighten any setting.
- Small Batches: Made in limited runs of around 30 pieces, each holder is carefully shaped over two days and dried for a week.
- Firing: The first firing heats the clay to 1000°C. Hand-mixed glazes are then applied, creating unique and stunning patterns. The final firing at 1260°C ensures a durable, high-quality finish.
- Sustainability: Renewable materials and eco-conscious practices minimize environmental impact, supporting ethical craftsmanship.
