Dehydrated Oranges

Orange slices for wreath decoration, scents & potpourri. Can also be used in Christmas flower arrangements, door wreaths and garlands. This product is not for consumption, for decoration purposes only. Sold by weight, approx 8 oranges = 50-60g.

Plastic-free, loose and £4.50/100g (Meanwhile… Sainsbury’s have theirs at £5/100g wrapped in plastic. We even took a photo because honestly - why?!)

The other day Theo and I were in the supermarket while they were switching everything from Halloween to Christmas, and it honestly stopped me in my tracks. Huge trolleys, plastic everywhere, industrial shelves being filled at lightning speed… it felt so consumeristic and gross. It made me realise just how different the two worlds are, and why us bringing out our Christmas early actually matters.

We’re competing with that. That noise. That rush. That pressure to buy more, more, more.

And yet here we are with our loose, plastic-free dehydrated oranges… simple, beautiful, natural. Buy much or as little as you like. No plastic, no waste, no giant trolleys full of stuff nobody really needs.

These orange slices are one of my absolute favourite festive decorations: they remind me that Christmas doesn’t have to be loud or over-the-top. It can be thoughtful, low-waste and genuinely joyful.

Some lovely ways to use them:
🎄 Hang on the tree with ribbon or twine
🌿 Thread into garlands with cinnamon sticks
🎁 Tie onto presents for the perfect natural topper
🕯️ Scatter along your table or around candles
🌲 Add to wreaths for a cosy, rustic feel
